The Bjork version wins for me - never was a cover more apt for the singer.
How about this one, "She's The One"
Robbie Williams cover was pretty famous back in the day.
But here's the original by World Party.
If they sound so similar, that's because Robbie's backing band was largely made up of former World Party members. I was pretty impressed with the story behind why Robbie did the song (to bail Karl Wallinger out when he was critically ill without him feeling he was getting charity). Top bloke, for a Port Vale fan!

What a pity that Bryan Ferry of Roxy Music's version blew it out of the water.
Same story for John Kongos. He may have been the first person to have a record with "samples" & the first major anti-apartheid hit song...
Unfortunately a fat Manchester junkie that thought he was hard until a roadie called Noel Gallagher floored him with one punch did it a lot, lot, lot better...

Came across another one. I think these are both OK.
As an aside, I did once wear blue velvet. I wouldn't generally recommend it.
