Wouldnt it be awesome if every morning after you sims woke up there would be a pop un window to plan the main activities of our sim's day , such as : monday : 7:00 am have breakfast, 7:30 am have a shower, 8:00 am go to work...4:30 pm pick up children from school...etc...
So i mean, we would plan some important activities of their days that they would do automaticaly; we could program some as to be repeated every days( 7:00 am have breakfast, 7:30 am ha a shower...), and some others could be add every day, obviously it would be a game option you would or would not activate acording to you will
Do u think it is what they mean by long term planing?
I also think that it would be great in order to allow us to manage most of the lots...i have to say that i'm not realy sure to apreciate they 're doing their own life in my back , i mean like the fact they can be much more autonomous but i wouldn't want my gorgious sims to marry the slob of the corner while i' busy in an other lot.
We should be the those who decide for realy important life events for the sims we play with!!!

i like long term planning, and like u can't go 2 ur aquantince's wedding b/c ur going 2 a dinner party or something.
idk about shower and eating at an exact planned time, but i think ur days events should revolve around the long term plans.
u should b able 2 get a plan book in buy mode.
