What I mean by this is liek when someone has a baby or gets married or dies nobody even seems to care like especially when someone gets pregnant it's like nobody notices I think it should be something that everyone in town here's about and people get excited about they should call or come over and congratulate you and people all over town should talk about it

That's not a bad idea Smile I agree, a lot of important things go unnoticed. Probably because of the old layout of the neighborhood. Maybe with the seamless version this could be possible Smile

I agree. My sim's sister died a few days ago and a minute later she was canoodling with her boyfriend in the hot tub, of her own free will. I was saying to the screen, 'Helllo?! Your sister has died and you are making out with your boyfriend!'

I was thinking this too. And I agree. Marriage, getting pregnant, having a baby, and deaths are big things in real life but Sims act like it's nothing. I think I read somehwere that a Sim will get a happy moodlet when she becomes pregnant so at least we know there's going to be some sort of recognition for that now. I don't know about everything else though.

Gotta love Sims...free will messes everything up.

That would be really cool. Now, when my sim has her baby, her parents can actually congratulate her right then and there.

Re: More Prestige - tv_freak - 03-04-2008 03:31 PM

it would be great like an option of "tell..." and then your sim could tell other sims "i'm pregnent/engaged/just go married" ect.
i've always wanted when like a sim couple is expecting a baby the woman could tell the man she's pregnent (sims with commitment issues can get really freaked out that'll be hillarious)

Re: More Prestige - Bat - 03-04-2008 10:37 PM

Yeah! That would be nice.

Maybe if the Sims newspaper actually carried news about the neighbourhood.
Or the news on tv actually reported the local news.
This would be a way for other sims to know about the latest happenings in the town.  Smile

Oh, that sounds like a good idea, and they would all react differently to the news.
