LMAO. We speak English. It's just mostly slang in it xD
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - Cassie - 09-01-2010 01:17 AM
Again. How do you mean?
I don't really know much American slang.
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - gothika - 09-01-2010 01:19 AM
Wait. What do you mean 'How do you mean?' as in 'What do you mean?' D:
This is why America sucks. For chopping up a language & me not understanding it ><
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - Cassie - 09-01-2010 01:22 AM
Yes, I meant 'what do you mean'.
XD
Tbf I'm not certain if 'how do you mean' is proper English or if that's just my Sheffield accent messing it up, I'm not sure. {closedeyes}
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - gothika - 09-01-2010 01:26 AM
I've never really heard that one o.o
Now I'm confused. >< Way to go Cassie {rolleyes}

agreed. American is improper
I say some English words differently. Like pronounce words differently than others sometimes
But I belive that English is the original/birth place of our English language in America so 'Jolly-ho'
did I say that right?
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - Cassie - 09-01-2010 01:28 AM
What are you confused about?
I just meant, you said you speak English but with slang, and I meant, 'want do you mean?' or in other words, 'care to elaborate?'
Geddit?
^^ That's what I'm asking sort of Brad. Like, what slang do you have?
LOL Steven, nobody says jolly-ho here. XD Well they did 100 years ago.
But thank you for agreeing!

I still find it funny that if I were to say 'get tha sen out do-er' or 'Is tha daft, get thee sen some snap down tha while I get mashin, that do yuh reyt' or even something as simple as 'Oreyt' and you wouldn't understand.
Admittedly, I am rather like you guys in the sense that on many words, no, I DON'T speak proper English. I wish I COULD, but it takes effort since naturally words just wont come out without my Sheffield dialect imprinted on them. But I still know I'm not speaking proper English.
I want to know American slang, no one will tell me.
