Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - bobert26 - 07-02-2010 07:45 AM
Long story...
My friend and I were talking about our school trip to Winnipeg and about how the place we're staying, the Museum, is in the dodgier part of Downtown... so we said we hope they lock us in lest the hookers break in and cause chaos.
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - serp3821 - 07-02-2010 07:52 AM
how ghetto is Winnipeg? I never thought of Canada being ghetto. USA has a lot of ghetto spots. Haven't you seen the movies. South Central is very ghetto in LA. omg, that's like Tupac and 50 cent hood right there XD.
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - bobert26 - 07-02-2010 08:01 AM
It's not a great place. I mean it's only really bad if you're involved in gangs/drugs/a hooker, lol ... This guy who installed our carpet a few years ago lives in Winnipeg and his son had something to do with this gang, I don't think he was part of it, but anyway, they cut his fingers off. Canadian cities in general are a lot safer than American cities... but Winnipeg is just a horrible, cold, depressing city. Blah...
Also, there's some horrible poverty not half an hour away from where I live... on the reserves things are pretty tough, and a lot of crime in Canada takes place on First Nations Reserves.
