Oh, definitely not. I usually read or listen to music or something.
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - Paul - 27-05-2008 11:07 PM
I would listen to my iPod, but I haven't been to the airport in a while.
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - bambigoddess - 27-05-2008 11:19 PM
Makes sense. You should go just so you have a chance to use it.

i haven't been on a plane in over a year that's a bummer i like traveling and i like flying
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - bambigoddess - 28-05-2008 01:03 AM
Me too! I can't believe how some people absolutely hate it.
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - tv_freak - 28-05-2008 10:16 AM
some people have flight anxiety or are afraid of hights...
i'm kindda afraid of hights but more like open hights (i know i'm weird) so i don't really have any problem with being on a plane just i don't really like the landing...
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - Cassie - 28-05-2008 03:54 PM
I can see how some people would not like to fly. I personally have always loved it, although I have been flying since I was a baby. Some people only begin lying when they're much older, and I think age plays a huge part. When you're a kid, you don't think about the dangers or anything of flying, it never comes to mind, so you automatically are at ease with flying. If you first fly when you're older, these things come into play in your mind so I can see why some people have that kind of anxiety. I woldn't hold that against them.
Although, they should realise that you're more likely to die in a car than you ever would in a plane. A LOT more likely. It's only because plane accidents are broadcasted so much more than car accidents that people get the wrong idea. And of course there's the terrorist attack and things. I have to admit, even that scares me. I always have a small fear at the start that there's a terrorist on board, I'm not going to lie to you about that one. Some people look extrememly suspicious. But... yes.
Re: The Official Nonsense Thread - tv_freak - 28-05-2008 04:24 PM
here terorists attacks happens every day...
when i was younger we used to go on trips abroad like twice a year so that's at least 4 flight a year often even more and as cassie said when you're a kid you don't know about all the risks of flight so someone like me who has been in like 50 flights by the time i was 10 and nothing happed flying isn't scary

i had this big french test today and i'm just so greatful for my dictionairy...
anyway i've actually came here to complaine the test started at 11 for the entire 11th graders in my school and they lock the back gate
how dumb is that?! there was a groupe of students there when i came arround 10:40 and a teacher (whose daughter also studies in the 11 grade)
i mean they now there is a test (and we came only for the test) and alot of students come via bus (which is way closer to the back gate) or live closer to the back gate and they lock it it was like 30 dagrees celsius (86 fahrenheit) and we had to walk all the way to the front gate
so i get to school hot and sweaty and i have to get my dictionairy since i left it in classe good thing is my classe is at the same floor where the test was...
anyway it was a hard test and i apologise for anyone who read all of this post
