Introducing The Sims Times - A New Fictional Sims Newspaper Website! - matt - 13-02-2009 10:39 AM

Over the last few days, I've put together another new website to join our Sims Network, The Sims Times (SimsTimes.com)

[Image: tst.png]

Brief Description
The Sims Times is a Sims Newspaper with stories from inside the Sims world. It publishes fictional news stories as though they were real, like in the Sims newspaper that is delivered to your Sims every day! The stories can be about anything, but are written as though it's a factual news article.

The stories can be comical (such as the articles I've posted so far), or take a more serious note (such as the articles Bat has posted so far). But they can be about anything at all!

Community Involvement
As with all our sites, we like to get the community involved as much as possible. That's why with this site, we're opening up reporter positions to anyone who wants to be involved.

Writing stories is fun and easy to do. The way I've written mine is to find a screenshot of The Sims, and base a story around it, being as imaginative as possible! I really enjoyed writing them, and I'm rubbish at writing fiction! {blink}

When your article gets published, visitors can leave comments about it, share it and rate it, so your work can be appreciated! If you become a reporter, we are also looking to adding a 'Sims Times Reporter' title to your forum profile, if you want one {yes}.

See the 'Become a Reporter' page for more information on becoming a reporter if you're interested.

So head on over and take a look, read the few articles that we've posted so far, rate them leave comments and have fun!

If you're interested in writing for The Sims Times, check out the 'Become a Reporter' page.

Let us know what you think of this idea. Good? Bad? Stupid? Have an idea to improve it? Let us know!

Thanks for reading!

Matt
Editor for The Sims Times
