LOL, I've lived here for a year now. xD

It's something that a lot of people talk about... I don't know of those figures are exact, it's just something I've heard people say but it probably is close. But like I said I know a lot of really cool Maori people too.

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
They can be... but more towards Asians than Maori and Islanders. I find that Kiwis can be a bit ignorant sometimes. It really annoys me when people try to tell me that Canada is the same as the US. I'm like, "Have you been to Canada?" 'No.' "Have you been to the US?" 'No.' Then how can you come to the conclusion that Canada is the same as the US? It's just ignorance really. And it annoys me.

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
Yeah me and my friend were talking about that while we were talking about that topic. She told me that they had a Canadian teacher and the class thought she was American and when the class told her that, she told me that she got mad and said that she was 'Canadian!'. I'm sorry but I don't know what's the difference between Canada and America. They're almost the same to me. Except the accents. Some Canadians say 'About' as 'Aboot' or 'Out' as 'Oot'. That's just my opinion. Tongue

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
Well, we do have a different culture. It may have been heavily influenced by America but it's still different. Different languages, different government, we're a member of the Commonwealth, Canadians tend to be more tolerant and open-minded than Americans. There are a lot of things about Canada that make it different from the US. It's a bit like Australia and New Zealand. They're quite similar but very different at the same time.

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
LOL. I was a bit confused for a second there. But yes, they are both an oxymoron in that they are similar but different.

OK. You're starting to piddle me off. xD
But no, I doubt that you could describe any countries as being antithesis.

Okay okay. I'll stop.

I swear I started cracking up after you wrote your reply. I read our conversation and it was really funny. You should have not edited that part. It was so funny :')
