Some people are taking advantage of the situation that the police force still isn't very strong yet.

The Muslim Brotherhood I take it already starting on their "purification" of the country before trying to bully everyone come the free elections?

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
It wasn't done by the Muslim Brotherhood.. I'm not as worried about the MB as I am about the Salafis. The Salafis are EXTREMELY radical, they actually want to force everyone in the country to become Muslim and force all women in the country to wear a hijab (if not a niqab even!). This probably won't be happening as the Salafis literally have no support except for a very small minority. People are beginning to change their opinions about the MB (everyone was scared of them before Mubarak stepped down as they were banned and the media would always portray them as extremists). They are definitely not as extremist as the salafis but still. They are trying to pretend they do not want an Islamic country by coming up with statements like "We wouldn't mind having a Christian rule the country" to change the public opinion about them. I still don't trust nor does the majority of Egyptians. And the Supreme Council made a statement that it will not let another Khomeini rule the country. We have made it very clear that we want a democratic country, where everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. However, Islam is and will probably still be the official religion of the country.

I want a job too! Not because of money but just because now that I've finished school and have 5 months of absolutely nothing. I need something to kill all that free time I have! I was thinking about working in a bookstore/library but the one I contacted haven't gotten back to me yet.

If you can visit the bookstore, do. It's worthwhile showing that you're keen and aren't just someone wanting to work any old place so long as you're earning money before Uni.
