RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
What your favourite footy team Caspin? Also, are chavs worse than hipsters or are they on a similar level?

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
Bristol has always been chavtastic, that's why they shot Skins there. It also has a massive population of urban foxes which live entirely off drunken chavs dropped kebabs.
The Orange Order's "Orangefest" in Glasgow at the weekend was a complete disaster. Only a few hundred turned up to their "jambouree" in George Square. I'd feel sorry for them if they weren't such a bunch of pig-ignorant neanderthal bigots. |

For the Britons of the forum:
What's the Two Show? Richard tweeted about it over the weekend and I have no idea what he's talking about! Rifftrax - Some movies have it coming! http://www.rifftrax.com Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with Rifftrax. Just a fan. I think they're awesome. I'm Richard Hammond's biggest American fan. |

Drawing a blank on the Two Show. There's a couple of similar sounding ones on the net, but nothing that is British.
Is he meaning BBC2 by any chance? |

Wow cool! They're currently showing Pingu on BBC Two. That is a weird kids' show - probably even weird for the kids watching it. Meanwhile, does the wind blow predominantly from the east or from the west?

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
It was BBC 2. I had no idea what he was talking about!!! Just say BBC 2 next time!!!!!!! You (Richard) have an least 1 non-UK follower!!!!! I read an article last night about how they're FINALLY airing the final 2 episodes of the current Top Gear series and it mentioned the tweets (from Richard and apparently one from May, who I wouldn't follow even if you paid me ). Also, Richard and James will be doing what they called a "studio link" (whatever that means).
Thanks for helping me with that. Rifftrax - Some movies have it coming! http://www.rifftrax.com Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with Rifftrax. Just a fan. I think they're awesome. I'm Richard Hammond's biggest American fan. |

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
Glad Minty was able to solve the mystery of the Two Show, as I was lost. I thought there might be some mix-up with The One Show, which is an actual programme, but couldn't really see how that might come about!
Simspeaker, my fave footy teams are Marine AFC, my home team, Liverpool if I have to pick a big team, Hearts in Scotland. I rarely support England so in international competitions I usually support the underdog or just choose the snazziest socks. I am going to say that chavs are much worse than hipsters. The beardy ones may be committing crimes of appearance and be a little vain, but that may pass in time, whereas chavs are permanently and obnoxiously loud. Also I met a nice hipster in a pub in Bristol who was very friendly and helped me choose beer, so he won some points for their side. He'd get more points after a shave though. I have now left Bristol. It was very nice once Saturday night was over as most of the hens and stags left or fell into silent hangovers. I like the city but have never previously stayed in the newer development by the floating harbour. It was a bit soulless, but convenient for getting around. I had hoped to go hot air ballooning, but sadly the wind was too strong. It wouldn't be a good idea to be carried out over the Channel or to the airport! I went to see the SS Great Britain, which was a really terrific experience. The top of the ship has been restored so you can climb on that and climb the rigging if you wish, while the lower part is sealed under a glass panel to stop it corroding, but you can climb under, then inside the ship it has been returned to passenger liner format. I don't think I'd have coped well even travelling first class as the bunks looked so uncomfortable. But at least there would be something nicer for dinner than endless hard biscuit like the poor folk in steerage had to survive on. Having said that, I read some of the menus and noted an over-reliance on jellies. Anyway, it was really well done - they even piped in appropriate odours as you went through the ship, so in the kitchen you could smell baking bread and of course there were less attractive smells to be found elsewhere. So now I'm in Liverpool for the remainder of my trip. Some of the neighbours have put up a hideously huge loft extension. |

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
What do you look for in Top Gear, Caspin? Is there an easy on the eyes host?
