Ha - a bit of reminiscing for new year, eh?! No, I don't often read my old posts.

I have an advantage in that I had no internet when I was a kid, so there's no online evidence of my craziness at that age.
I only had email and internet when I went to university and I didn't get a mobile phone until the year 2000. It was quite heavy so I didn't often take it out with me. I expect that if I re-read old letters/postcards or could hear some of the phone conversations I had with my friends at that age, I might feel the same as you though, so I wouldn't worry!
