For one thing, I had actually forgotten that Missy was the Master. I think I must be losing my mind as I age. Or possibly that information has been pushed out by something more important (I can hope).

I really liked Christopher Eccleston as the doctor. I think he got the mix of fun and serious just right. Some of the earlier doctors, and possibly the current one, took themselves too seriously for my liking.

Yeah, the whole Master having a s3x change seemed pretty daft until I remembered he'd used up all his regenerations & it was some body stealing technique he now did to survive.

Eccleston was brilliant - I don't think the reboot would have worked without him, especially the way he handled the Daleks.
