I've seen it at a game shop/store and it's only $20!
Should I take the plunge??

Rena - in my opinion, $20 is too much. I just bought S1 the other day (yes, I know I sad I never would...feel free to call me a hypocrite Wink), and I bought the complete set for $35 (at Target Big Grin). So, try to find it cheaper, if you can.  Wink

Re: Vacation
You hypocrite Bambi!

lol.

Rena, if you don't have Superstar, and you are not playing The Sims anymore, $20 is a little much I think. Yes, it is a good game, but I don't think that after all these years it is still worth $20. Isn't that how much Stuff Packs cost?

Also, I loved Vacation, that was until I lost the code, reset my computer and couldn't reinstall Vacation.

Re: Vacation
I agree. With Sims 3 right around the corner (well, it's still a ways away, but you know what I mean), it seems a bit pointless to spend $20 on a game from way back when. If anything, save your money for S3, 'cause we all know it's going to be a bit more pricey than we're use to. Wink

Re: Vacation
I didn't have making magic or superstar. I'm starting to feel like I should have gotten it. Who knows, maybe I will one day when its only 50 cents or something.

I remember spending ALL my time on the vacation lots. So I guess it must have been my favorite. It also added all these interactions so that was cool. Remember when you could only choose "Kiss" and the game would decide for you what happened?

Re: Vacation
My fav will always be Makin' Magic, but yes.

Vacation was reeeally awesome.  I loved taking my sims on vacations to the snow resort place, lol. And watching them wipe-out on the snow board ramp,  {clap}
