It seems that EA wants to create expansion packs are will seamlessly integrate into the game...not create a whole other seperate game within it.

I don't think that there will be a farm expansion pack. That's why we have Harvest Moon.

Extremely good point. I think that the whole farm idea, however nice it might be for another game (maybe Sims 2), it strays from what Sims 3 is.

Re: Farms!
We could see that's going in as a expansion.

Never settle for less!

Re: Farms!
farms is interesting but not something i'd like to see in the sims 3. i don't mind growing veggies or fruit but chickens and cows are a bit too far for me. eventually it would get boring. the whole crazy job thing is what's nice about the sims in the sims 2. twas funny reading the jobdescriptions, they always had something funny to it. but farming is just farmin ya know. tis the sims 3 not farm 3

Re: Farms!
I think farms are a good idea, but I think their place would be in an EP. But it would be really awesome if we could have country Sims living on farms, I that would be great! Smile

Re: Farms!
I think farms just aren't for the sims. I like the concept but it would be a whole other game. Maybe they'll tackle it after the sims series is over.

Re: Farms!
I don't mean to sound rude here, DejaDejaVu...but it seems you don't like anyone's idea Smile Maybe if you explained why you don't like it, it'd be easier to accept your opinion.

So my question is, why do you think it'd have to be a whole seperate game?

Re: Farms!
ya, sorta like my horse idea but I think its more popular lol!  anyway, I would totally love a farm.  It would be like my sims getaway for the weekend or maybe the grandparents would own it and all the relatives could come and party lol!  sounds lots of fun.  Kids could chase the sheep or pigs and parents could go for a relaxing horse ride near the creek maybe.  I like this idea a lot.  and the making and selling of food would be great.  U could maybe milk your own cows or goats.
