RE: Fury
Aw, poor Lightening!

Nice to see that Kevin is about as competent at mounting a horse as I would be. I can barely remain seated correctly on a chair so I'd never try to get on an animal that is likely to start moving. He must be bruised all over. Gave me a right giggle when he hopped on backwards. Biggrin

RE: Fury
Hey all!

Sorry about no new chapter. I haven't even began writing one yet...I'm sorry Sad

However, I am going to do something a little different to tide you over. I am going to do a little Q&A session, so if any of you are interested in asking me questions about Fury, you know...the whole story on where did I get the idea for Fury and all that stuff, feel free to ask! I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability as soon as I can!

Aw, don't worry, Fraroc. We are a patient bunch here (well, I am, at any rate).

Questions? I always have questions. Here is one. You seem to really like horses. Can you yourself ride a horse? Do you own a horse? Did you grow up on a farm?

The answer to all three of those questions is....no. I haven't been on a horse yet nor do I own one or grew up on a farm. I've always loved horses though, just like Mike, I've always thought they were some of the most beautiful creatures in the world....In a way, they're like huge dogs, animals who really do love and care about their owner. Cats can be kind of iffy about that....

RE: Fury
I just realised that yesterday I said I had one question but then asked three, didn't I! I thought you must ride horses as you seem to have extensive horse knowledge. I don't like horses but I do admire them. I think they are lovely creatures and very useful, but I had a few bad experiences with horses when I was younger and now even as an adult I am a little bit afraid of them. I do like dogs and cats.

OK here is another question. Are your characters based on people you know or just totally made up?

Smile Caspin asks (again)

The answer to that is...on the top of my head, no. For the most part, I've made up all of the characters, including their names. In a sense, I feel like I implement my own personality into these characters....or at least the positive qualities about me.

If I start to bug you with my questions you can tell me to shush and I promise I will not take offence. I am too chatterboxy sometimes, I know. The questions will keep coming but I will just ask and then make up the answers inside my own head. Yes

Today I was thinking about the set you use. What world did you use for Crystal Falls? Did you build Jack's horse ranch yourself or get help from other simmers who like building? The stables look really good.

Don't worry Caspin, I actually love doing this! Sohappy Listeningtomusic Hopefully we can get Minty and Ollie to come and ask some questions....I'd love to hear their input...

So, Caspin asks....AGAIN Smile

I just used Appaloosa Plains, the default world that came with The Sims 3 Pets, I just decided to name it Crystal Falls....something different. Jack's horse ranch was an unoccupied house that was already built into the world, what I did was that I moved it to a more isolated place, to kind of give it that homestead-esque vibe. I made a few edits to it, though. I added a fenced pasture and the quarantine container.

RE: Fury
I never got to grips with Appaloosa Plains. The first time I played in it there was some kind of horrific routing issue and lots of sims got trapped under a mountain, then I tried it again a while ago but didn't like it so much. It suits your story very well though. Smile

OK then, how did you come to choose "Crystal Falls" as a new name for the town? Is it the name of a real life town that you know?
