It seems that ea.com, origin.com are not properly showing up.

Also, all download links to Sims 3 patches are broken, and the official update client cannot find the server.
This has been like this for 2 days. Did they get hacked?

Hi Evil Smile

I don't use Origin so have no clue about that, but I did update to 1.67 today and that seemed to go OK.

Can you tell me how you updated?
I tried through the game launcher and origin and nothing can be reached at all.

RE: What is wrong with EA's sites?
I just hit 'refresh' on the updates tab of the launcher and that brought up 1.67. I was at 1.63 before that. However I'm lucky - a lot of people have trouble with the updates through the launcher and need the manual superpatcher. If you can't get it through the usual method you could try the TS3 website or there's also a link on Crinrict's blog:

EA.com is fine with me. Could be your browser or outdated cookies (I've had that stopping me getting into the Official Sims 3 forum before!)

It's always an idea to check your Java & Flash are up to date if dealing with Origin, Steam or any or those damned "launchers" - they're tempremental at best.

Come back Gamespy, all is forgiven!

Fixed it. EA told me to reset my hosts file, and it worked. That is a first! EA support was correct for once!

EA gave you some helpful information? You could knock me down with a feather!

Glad you got it sorted.
