exercise
In TS2 sims can only lose weight if they formally exercise...on a bike or something. They can also gain weight from eating too much (and VERY quickly) but they can't lose any from eating less. This should be changed in TS3.

I think that if sims doesn't overeat, if they're overeat their fitness level should go up until it reaches a healthy point. Then after that, exercising is the only thing that would increase their fitness.

Other things besides swimming and exercise machines should affect fitness. This would just be a bonus, cause it wouldn't add that much to gameplay, it would just be cool. You know, fitness point when kids play tag and such.

From a few screen shots it looks like sims can jog around town...we better be able to plan their routes.

Re: exercise
I never noticed they can't lose weight from eating less. Silly me. :Smile
I definately agree though, there's really not enough ways to keep fit besides the exercise machines, swimming and dissappearing for a jog. I like your ideas, playing tag would indeed encourage fitness and I really hope we can plan their jogging routes too, that would be really good! ;D

Re: exercise
Well, mine can. Only the fitness freaks though. I just click on them and it says "Go for a Jog" or something of the sort. And then they just dissappear from the house for a while. I have all the EP's so I don't know which one it comes with, but I only noticed it after I got Freetime, so I'd assume it was with Freetime. But I can't be sure.

Re: exercise
Yeah it would be cool if sims could ride their bikes and kids could have bikes with training wheels and toddlers could have tricycles.  ;D

That would be cute! And the parents can teach the kids how to ride their bike. ;D

I think Anorexia is a bad thing to support, especially in such a kid friendly game...
