RE: The Official Nonsense Thread

Their owner Gavin Masterton hasn't paid a tax bill (£134 000) & it seems has no intention of, so HMRC will be putting in a liquidation order. To stave it off, he'll put them into administration, whereupon everyone else that they owe money to (£9 million) is going to demand their cut. They will copy what Rangers did & become a "newco" - relegated to Division 3 for it, but free of any debts, & tough luck to all their creditors. Where do Rangers come into this? Their former crooked owner Sir David Murray - the man whose dodgy financial deals ruined Rangers c/o unsecured properly loans from the Bank Of Scotland (which came from the direct approval of its managing director of the time - Gavin Masterton!) was a very good friend of Masterton, & there's long been allegations of collusion between the two: including Murray phoning Jimmy Calderwood to tell him he was going to be made Dunfermline manager many years ago instead of Masterton, & the notorious 2003 Scottish League Championship decider on the last day of the season, where Rangers needed a monster scoreline to win - they beat Dunfermline 6-1 away. What made everyone so suspicious at the time was that Masterton had sent the entire Dunfermline squad for a training break in Spain or wherever for a week. They had to fly back to Edinburgh on the Saturday morning of the match & go to play the match, needless to say they all played like they were dog tired. Who sends players on a training break the week before the close season, & has them returning to play a match the same day? There's rumours that if Dunfermline do go to the wall, some of their staff will start spilling the beans about Masterton's dodgy deals with the Ibrox cheats as they'll have nothing to lose. Could be about to get very messy again in Scottish football! |
