The Official Nonsense Thread

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
Whaaaaaaaa? Omg How s**t were the Estonian, French, Finnish, German, Irish, Lithuanian & Spanish entries to get beaten by the UK having Zelda from Terrahawks daughter as their entrant?

Only San Marino failed to give the Danes any points. They must have all stuck a tenner at the bookies on the Azbees to sneak a win, but it was never on. Some things never change - Cyprus giving the Greeks 12 points.

Azerbaijan finished second! Shocked

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
That has to have been one of the most boring Eurovisions I've ever watched. The best thing was the hostess's song while we were waiting for the votes to be counted - with dancers dressed as meatballs, it was the most entertaining thing of the whole show. They should have given her some points!

The only funny songs came from the Romanian guy, with his high pitched squealing while dressed as Ming the Merciless, and the Greeks, with their troupe of young dudes impersonating Madness (kind of) plus someone's grandpa playing a tiny banjo. The rest was all dull men with bland voices or aggressive blonde women in sequens.

Nah

Nah
Every year it's a battle to see how many songs I can last before getting bored & going to watch something else. This year with episodes of Game Of Thrones to watch instead it stood no chance. Three songs & I was out!

I'll raise you a Dumbledore killed himself anyway by taking the poisoned necklace! Tongue

I take it you are talking about Game Of Thrones & not Eurovision? Sorry! I thought you like everyone else was bang up to date. I thought I was being quite subtle in what I was saying so no one would get it other than those that had saw it, so that "you no nuttin' Jon Snow" Tongue

On the current series, regarding episode four, all I can say is Bwahaharoll I howled with laughter & cheered at that one!

I am now bang up to date. Last episode was a bit flat, & as usual Ygritte The Chavette said "you no nuttin' Jon Snow", this after following him around like a lovesick puppy after he - um, on second thoughts not only would this be a spoiler but it won't get passed the language filter! Biggrin

I am beginning to wonder about whether Joffrey is starting to show signs of functioning braincells. I also have a suspicion about what's going to happen in the next episode (although considering the way events are strung out for so long I could be wrong), & if right it could all end up a REAL barrel of laughs (except for the characters!)

If only Sims Medieval had been like this, people may have played it!

RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
Ah well now you are ahead of some of us. I can't believe how quickly you watched all those Game of Throneses - have you slept at all in the last week?!

I always watch Eurovision. It's a habit I haven't broken from being at university! I did the washing up during the scoring as that part is always monotonous. I felt sorry for the Irish boy - can't understand why he didn't get a few more points as his performance was no worse than most of the acts and considerably better than some.

I played Sims Medieval. I loved it! A bit different and nowhere near as laggy as Sims 3. In fact I still have two or three levels to complete, must do that sometime.

Waaaaah the temptation! Must resist!

Fryingpan

Can't start watching any yet, must watch all the stuff on the recorder box before it fills up or starts deleting things (so you know how far behind I am - have not yet watched last year's Christmas special of Dr Who!).

Looks a good idea to me. Combine science & PE all in one lesson. Clapping

Really weird weather up here, like it wants to be thunder & lightning but can't.

Game Of Thrones was good - more Monkeyman & Chipmunk Face from Skins in it. Tyrian is too good for his family, I hate them SO MUCH!

Need something to calm me down.

That's better, especially if you whistle the cannon fire bit of the 1812 Overture along to it!
