Yeah, I've seen muppets at the Junior games dunking Mars Bars & all sorts into their Bovril. Can't stand Bovril anyway, totally minging, but dunking Mars Bars & KitKats into it is completely bogging.

I had a Labour door knocker yesterday for the first time in my life. All they got off me was "so now you look set to lose the seat, now you care suddenly after ignoring this street for decades?". Which was true: even when they lost control of the council, still the only ones who chapped doors at election time ever were the SNP & once the Tories. No one else ever bothered.

Discovered today on Twitter that they hadn't even been from the town, they had to get people in from Glasgow because the local party members couldn't be bothered, & having been found out they were hastily removing the incriminating photos.

Up here it's only the Greens & SNP who have any footsoldiers, plus the Scottish Socialists. They're always doing something one weekend in two all year round & it's paying rewards in having members used to a routine of having to give up set amounts of spare time to man a stall or canvass.

Horrible weekend with my throat feeling like I'd been eating razor blades. I've also been warned that the firm didn't do as well as anticipated last financial year, & if matters don't pick up in the next three months they'll be cutting back on staff. Time to start looking around elsewhere, unless this is some sick stunt to increase "productivity".

GTA 5 out next week. Should I get it?
