You weren't really one for GTA previously, were you? It is entertaining to watch, what with the cars and the guns and the amazing scenery. I think I preferred GTA IV in some ways. Since you are accustomed to playing games in which your character has to move and shoot at the same time, you might get more out of it than me. I need someone else to play it (someone competent) so I can just view it as a movie.

Sorry you aren't feeling well. Are you getting sick again or could it be allergies? I felt horrendous last Friday when that smog descended, like my head was being pressed in a vice, but thankfully it only lasted that one day and then a rain shower the following morning did a good job of clearing the air. I was relieved, as I had to go into central London on Saturday, something I normally avoid at the weekend, to meet a friend who was in town and had a limited window of time in which to see me. Since he moved to Bodmin Moor over a year ago I haven't seen him at all, so it was worth the effort, but fighting my way through roadworks and tourists (equally obstructive) I thought how much worse it would have been with a headache and a cloudy brain.

All the election propaganda has been keeping my recycling box nice and full. The whole lot of them must thing voters are idiots and entirely incapable of fact-checking or research. Some of the lies and nonsense they write in those fliers have me absolutely aghast. I have corresponded with the candidates in my area over the last year about a variety of matters and I know who I'm going to vote for from those standing in the constituency. I don't support their party as a whole, not by a very long way, but from the information I've gathered and the conversations I've had with them, the candidate will best represent me as an MP. They're pro-NHS and anti-Trident. They were there on the picket line at my local hospital when I was supporting the strike and I've seen them at anti-TTIP campaigns. I just want my postal ballot to arrive now so I can fill it out, send it back and try to calm down about the whole thing. It seems that the SNP should do very well so Labour should probably cut their losses and focus on fighting the Tories in England instead of wasting time trying to persuade Scots that they're the right choice up there. And I wonder if the Lib Dems will get a single seat this time round?! Anyway, we must not bore everyone about the election so I shall say no more.

Fingers crossed that you don't get the chop at work. Did those people who were not-very-mysteriously coming into work in interview suits leave or are they still hanging around? Perhaps enough people will jump ship that those remaining will be kept on.
