RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
Yes, give cats cardboard boxes or a large pile of newspapers spread all over the floor & you can keep them entertained for hours.
I've been off work very sick the last two days, & have finally managed to get a face to face appointment with this new doctor's practice. Except that the real doctor sat in the corner whilst a student got some practice. I also discovered that the previous doctor had decided to stick down on my record that I was allergic to a particular type of antibiotic when I was nothing of the sort. There were only three of us waiting in a surgery of four doctors, yet I had to insist on an emergency appointment like they were gold dust, & the receptionist at first couldn't find me on their records when I arrived that morning. They're completely taking the rip. However, the alternative is going private for a £70 "consultation". That's what life would be like if those wanting to privatise the NHS got their way. I'm so glad Dr Richard Taylor's going to try & get his old Wyre Forest seat back. The Tories and UKIP are neck & neck for the seat, so he could ride right past both on a split vote. |
