RE: The Official Nonsense Thread
"This weekend will see gale force winds & heavy rain, travel is not advised unless necessary."
Aye right. There's not been enough wind to sail a toy yacht. Muppets! Getting a bit sinister up here with the JK Rowling row with the MP McGarry. Allegations have come out that the troll she's friendly with online called Brian Spanner QC (he writes a lot of nasty stuff about women) is an alias of the Scotsman newspaper's feature writer Euan McColm. If proved true, major can of worms & her own cred will take a hit. Meanwhile Tommy Sheridan (you'll remember him!) has libelled McColm on Twitter, accusing him directly of being Spanner, leaving the latter no choice but to either take him to court or see his career ruined. Elsewhere, there's people wondering why there's a media silence over large numbers of Rangers supporters waiting outside of matches over the last month to assault or throw missiles at leaving fans of other clubs, as well as two journalists being fired by the Herald newspaper for writing less than flattering pieces about the club. Only in Scotland, eh? |
