oh ok i understand one thing i dont like about the sims 3 is that they will get marries and have kids without you being there im fine with the hole aging thing and everything but i would atleast like to choose who they date and get married to

Naming just seems like one thing on the list of stuff that shouldn't happen behind the player's back.

Or perhaps a name *is* randomly generated for the time being, but the player has an option to change it once they get back to playing the household.

Just like with soap operas, I'll never know what's going on in town. Thankfully it's not like Animal Crossing, where they keep going on with their lives even if the game isn't running.
