OMG x 5000 help!

Hi guys!

SO, today, I got TWO NEW EPS!!!!!!!!!!!
BV and NL!!!!!!!!!!! AAH

So, I know that they must be installed in order, meaning seasons has to be uninstalled, and my data needs to be backed up.
I don't know how to back it up so that it can be restored later on. Any help? Thanks!

You don't have to install them in order.

this is one of the better teclical things they've fixed with TS2
in TS1 you had to install the eps in order (that was very annoying)
but luckily you don't have to with TS2

Are you sure Paul I have EPs that wont let me install i.e.University, Open for Business because I have installed seasons and freetime.  It tells me they cant be installed and that I need to run the FT disk..

Maybe it's just your computer because I have NL, Pets, Seasons, and BV, and I installed University with no problems.

Hmm well it definately could be the pc.. I've had it for 7 yrs .. its a pent 3 omg did I just admit that?  I bought a new one today so I'll try it next week when it gets here.

Silly computer problems...they always get in the way of all the fun.

Anyhoo, like Paul and tv_freak said, you don't need to install them in order. ALTHOUGH, I do suggest backing up any extremely important files before installing any EPs, no matter what order you install them in.

My SPs wouldn't let me install TSS before H&M ... I had to do H&M first ... that's how I lost my Wolfe Legacy ... the uninstall of one SP somehow deleted the family entirely.

aww majick that stinks :'( i didnt know you had another legacy! i have to check it out sometime even though its finished
