All you have to do is exit to the neighbourhood without saving and move the family to another house and everything will be ok.

It's better than losing the whole generation.  I turn off my game when crap goes horribly wrong, but I have never met the social worker in my life.

My dad did.  He made a family with his ex girlfriend, and he didn't know about the nanny, so he went to work, and so did she.  LOL!!! That baby got taken away!!! He was hot!!!  Then in the original sims, he was cooking and his house caught on fire.  He got burned up, and people just stood around the house, looking at him.

Thankfully I had saved immediately after she got home from school, so I didn't actually lose too much game. And I got to move them out and back in, and not have the social worker visit anymore, lol.
