I do not know how it happened, but I got  VIRUS on m computer {cursing}

I have two Virus/Adware scanners running right now.

I don't know how I got these, since I don't viit very many sites; the majority of the sites I visit are Sims2 sites!  I was playing a game last night, when all of a sudden Firefox started popping oen for no reason. So I rebooted my computer, and whe I did that, I got a notice saying that a Virus had been found.

How do you get a Virus when you're not even looking at anything?!

I'm quite PO'd at the moment. Hopefully I can get this taken care of today.

I also think my keyboard is dying. Some of the keys are randomly taking turns not working when I type. Augh!!!!

I'me sorry!  I've had that happen to me too.  A virus ate my motherboard so I had to start alllllllll over.  I just hope yours gets fixed so nothing bad happens.

I think I took care of the Virus(s) but now I'm having problems with Ads ... I think there may be Adware on my computer >_<

And that is harder to pin-point. UGH!

Thank goodness you took care of the virus!
But as for the ads... hmm... on my old laptop (which is no longer in use) there was a bunch of annoying ads all the time. So I went to that All Programs thing and there was some random program there which I never installed... I uninstalled it and volia!!, the ads were gone.

When was the last time it happened? And what did you do to try to stop it?
