Attraction!

SO I was thinking about a different topic about how we don't know how the townie sims are going to find a mate

so I thought we need to have turn ons and turn offs like in night life! but also an attractivness bar

so how it would work is there is an attractivness that you get to choose for each sim and you can make them however attractive you want them on this bar. so like if you want them ugly make the bar low and if you want them hot make the bar high

then you choose your sims traits and turn ons and turn offs and depending on those things there is a mix between the attractivness bar and what every other individual sim is especialy atracted to or unattracted to

so like if your sim saw this sim that you had made ugly on his bar but he had a beard and your sim liked beards then the attractivness bar will go up for that sim or if they have compatible zodiac signs and traits it will go up

and if you have a hot sim that has liek maxed out general atractivness but your sim hates guys with blonde hair or something the bar is not as high in your sims eyes

does that make sense? because I think it would be an awesome addition to the game and would work amazingly well in the game because you could have personalized attractiveness for each sim but also the general what everyone would generally think because of course there are people the majority of people find hot and some that the majprity of people find ugly so if you blend that with your own characters preference it would be totally personal and totally realistic!

That does make sense! I know an actor that I know is beautiful, but I find him unattractive. As a result, he's not-so-beautiful for me. So I think I understand just what you mean.

We really do need some sort of attraction thingey though. The traits are awsome, but I don't think it makes sense for them to determinate who our sims like, cosmeticly. They should be more like the zodiacs, it's easier to socialise if they are a social benefit and such.

The idea is really interesting! To me, at least. I really think it would work good in the game.

Because in TS2 it's so stupid; a Sim can be very ugly but as long as they have blonde hair or are fat or whatever, your Sim considers them attractive >_>

but what pissed me off more is you would make a super hot sim and they would find them unattractive lol

Ohh yeah I know what you mean! Like I would have this impossibly beautiful Sim, and all the boys hated her just because she didn't have a certain trait >_>

I just hope the attraction isn't like TS2 where they can fall in love over one flirt.there are exception's but I found that really annoying in the TS2. To me the turn on and off didn't really change anything as far as romance but it did make it harder to make friends.
