Re: Video Editor for sim vids
Well,

Windows already comes with a movie editor called Windows Movie Maker... I won't lie to you, I don't like it.

I use Sony Vegas for my vids, but unfortunately, you have to pay for it.

Most video editors you need to pay for actually...I can't think of one that is free, apart from WMM.

You can download free trials from the websites though, and perhaps get a feel for them to go and buy one.

Coming Soon...

Re: Video Editor for sim vids
Okay, so in order to have a really nice well done/ good looking tv series, you need a good video editing software, but there are many out there to choose from Smile Some free, and some not so free Wink

Free:
WMM
Avid Free DV
Jump Cut (online)
Zwei-Stein Video Editor

Buy:
Adobe Premiere Elements (cheaper than Premiere Pro, but works well)
Adobe Premiere Pro (fairly expensive, but if you get the student discount, its worth it)
Sony Vegas Movie Studio (Cheapest version)
Sony Vegas Platinum Pro Pack (More expensive, for more in-depth editing)

Hope that helps Smile

—Scott

EDIT: I do lots of video editing and practice (for my series next year)
