me too, tis worldwide news. gives people hope and hopefully obama will work with the whole of europe not just france, germany and the UK 'cause we're part of it too damnit. the freaking NATO HQ is in my country and bush didn't even consider us. except when we went against the war in iraq, then all of sudden he did notice us

If we weren't ready, then why did we vote for him?

Also, Candice, I totally agree

I disagree on having a female president, because I would like to see a female be a leader, because I'm tired of my brother saying a woman can never be president Dx Anyone can be what they want,so why can't a woman be president?

No offense but Bush focuses on winning a war that should have stopped years ago. Wink

That's true.  And a woman can do just as good a job as a man at running the country.  And race shouldn't have anything to do with it either.

THANK YOU!
Race played a huge role into the outcome.
And Obama is mixed[He' mother's white, his father is black] not African American, and if you don't know the correct definition of an African American it's someone who was born in Africa and came to America.

I personally think race shouldn't be a factor in the elections.  They should just count on the person, and if they have good goals and such.

I find it rather stupid that people just vote for someone because of race or gender.  Its not helping America if you just vote for canidites just like that.
