i think it would be ace if you got a birth certificate for your baby sims and you could give them a first name and up to 3 middle names then their surname
and it goes to a town records place where your sims can visit and look at all the sims that have been born in the place, as well as death certificates
ooh and i think the birth certificate shud have a pic of them as a baby and the death on as a pic when they were old or young or whenever they died

Lol, forgot to add my Ideas and other opinions.

The idea's
More games, I know my favorite game growing up was hide an seek. How interesting would it be, and funny, to look at the screen and not be able to see your little sim because he/she is hiding in the toychest while her/his friend is looking under the bed? Or what about truth or dare for the teens? One teen tells the truth about wetting the bed while another is dared to ring the door bell of the old crotchety nieghbor? I think that would be amusing.

Movie Theaters, with popcorn. Then they can go on dates to the movies, catching a bite to eat afterwords. How cool would your Teen sim be if they snuck into the theater after curfew to see a movie their parents said no too, and did not get caught! Or how angry would the sims parents be if they did get caught!

Banks! Oh how I would love for my sims to have a bank, to store their money in and maybe make some intrest, or to start a college fund for their little kid who they want to go to college and make something of themselfs! I always download Monique's computer hack. I'd rather not have to wait for some one to make a hack like that for The Sims 3.

Playground equipment, swings, slides, sand boxes. Being a kid is all about having fun right? And what's more fun, for those who aren't shy and antisocial, then going to the park with your friend to shoot some hoops while your younger sibling plays on the monkey bars?

The yay's
Strays, like the pets? Stray animals, so you mean to pull them over from TS2 right? That would be nice, because I would definitely like to see the pets again. Pets are just a have to have for me. I think some vet places would be nice, you know incase your animal gets sick, or a shelter for the strays that you can take the ones roaming around your nieghbor hood to. Maybe even the ability to get them fixed? That would be nice because then maybe the pets can go into a pet house anuotomusly and get pregnant... I know that's how all my cats did.. hence why now all my cats get fixed when they are old enough. Pets... a must have for The Sims 3.

Weather, is definitelly a must have for The Sims 3. They gave it to us in The Sims 2 I really hope they don't take it away. Though I would like for it to stop hailing in summer... That's just... well. In summer? I've never heard of hail in summer.

Hospital care, I'd like to see that. And an emergency room for when your sim gets electricuted or caught in a fire! Maybe your sims can get plastic surgery for extreamly high prices at a specialist, or for low prices at one that doesn't have perfesionals that might wind up making a mistake, ending with your sims face looking... quit... interesting... Family doctors and check ups for when the bug floats around though, would be nice.

Cars, I do admit the cars they have are not that... exciting. I'd like to see some more cars with interesting designs. Maybe even older cars for a Car Enthusiast? Freetime moving to Sims 3.. please? I'd really like to see the VW Beetle and the Mercedes Bends.

Open for Buisness, should definitely be kept I agree. And maybe even with some more options, like pedicures, and shoe shops. Candy stores for kids. Heck, lets just have a mall!  Then our teens can be happy too.

Night school, would be loved. Though it would be hard to handle both work and school, I think our sims could manage it, especially if they either have a parttime job or a career similar to the Slacker career. Lets have them work in fast food restraunts!

More toddler toys, or toys in general. I'd like to see some girlie dolls or barbies, and not just the kind that are stuck on a shelf (Teen Style Stuff) or that you can only see when they play with the doll house. I loved the new car and helicopter that came with the Free Time expansion. Maybe a Llama and Cow doll, that would be cute. I'd definitaly like to see some more toys, whether they gain skills or not. They are keeping the skills system aren't they?

Apartments, I love the idea. My mother and I have always wanted apartments and I've always felt it should have been part of nightlife, I mean they gave the nieghborhood the right look for it. I tried to create one... but um... I'm not so good at that kind of thing. So yeah I would definitely want this in The Sims3!

The hmm's
Natural Disasters, Would be interesting, but then... there would be so many ways for your sims to die, and even an entire family! I'd like the option to turn natural disasters on or off if it is implamented into The Sims 3. Or maybe to be able to choose which ones you want to allow. Like say you want your custom nieghbor hood to be more like California, I haven't heard of a lot of Tornado's in Cali, though Earthquakes.. and sometimes flooding in certain areas.

Medication, might be interesting. I don't have exactly a uh... desire for my sims taking meds, I myself hate medication. But I did download those pill bottles to use as Decorations.

Hope this isn't too long, but you know how it is.. when the ideas are running wild!

Lol, yes well the Yay's and Hmm's are your Idea's, those are just my opinions on them... maybe I should have put them before the idea's, hehe. I love the sims, I play almost daily... though I've spent more time learning about the Sims 3 three these last few days. Oh and sorry about my spelling. I'm not a good speller, and Don't have spell check on this computer. It's quit annoying actually.
