I can't say I love them, but I wouldn't say I hate them. I think the sims in TS3 look more different than better. But when I really think about it's how the faces are so fundamentally different that makes them so much better. The two major differences are the eyes and the facial bone structure. The picture they have on the official website, the close ups of the sims faces, don't really appear better, but thats because they are doing a blank stare. In TS2 sim almost always had this blank stare, so from that perspective TS2 sims look better, but just like real people TS3 sims faces are in a constant state of expression. Any pictures showing sims in the environment look stunning. Their eyes move freely. The second difference is the facial bone structure(shape). I think that these more rounded faces may not look better at first, let remember why the way they look like they do. I feel that in TS2, unless you used the standard face structure(the first option), your sim looked butt ugly. In TS3 the new face shape is designed to allow endless manipulation in Create a Sim, with out making a sim look unrealistically ugly.
