Re: The Sims 3; Delayed Thread.
Snooty Sims said in the forum that we shouldn't expect it before April....

I wonder if this is a guess or do they have inside knowledge. April seems so far away, I guess on the upside I will have my computer back by then.

Re: The Sims 3; Delayed Thread.
It'll be a guess. In my opinion, it was absolutely idiotic to change the coundtdown timer. February the 20th is the most official date we have, and it just depresses me to look at it, now that 30 days have been added....

I agree! There wasn't any need to change it. That was a complete, vague, guess, and for all Snooty knows (no offence to him or his site which I think is brilliant), the game could be delayed a week, it could be delayed a flippin' year for all we know so it was best to leave as is, as it's waaay to depressing to look at now. I have a desktop countdown and it says 18 days, and I like to pretend that's all we've got to wait.

And for Sims 2, the Wants and Fears system completely messed up apparently and that caused the delay, but on the case of Sims 3, there's nothing that huge to change and repair, so I don't believe anyone who says it'll be delayed more than, say, a couple of months, because there's simply not that much to do. The game is looking awesome, says EA themselves.

I just really hope it isn't delayed for too long, or I may have to consider joining the mob.

Re: The Sims 3; Delayed Thread.
Just looking at all the different dates we are seeing should prove that there isn't a set date other than the 20. At least, it does to me.

I'm here to help! Send me a private message!
