oh heres a question.... what are your families like and the houses they live in, i always wondered how other people play the sims! TELL ME!

Ooo, Klondike bar ^_^ I'm dying for one lol

Anyways, I'm not playing the sims right now (I may shortly) but my families are normal for the most part lol. I play it somewhat like my Willam's legacy though, but I try not to have so many kids o_o.

The houses vary. Lately I've been trying to move them into pre-made houses and they grow as the family grows. My houses come out better that way usually lol.

i like doing that i get a crappy premade house if its only one sim and, as the family grows the house grows and after a while you forgot it was that premade crappy house lol.

In case u wanna know how everything changed....
Goth:Mortimers dead,Dinas in,Cassandra married don and moved out,Alex followed cassandra,and dina had twins boy and girl then a single boy with mortimer.

Pleasant:Mary-sue and Whatchamacallhisface turned old,Lilith and Angela graduated college with a 4.0 GPA

Dreamer:Darren Married Some lady that was an astronaut (for $$$) and dirk moved out and is engaged to lilith

Goth 2:Cassandra had twins and Alex got a girl friend (marsha bruenig)

Caliente:Ninas just having fun but is now preg from who knows... lol theirs 3 possible fathers

Broke:Brandi had 5 MORE KIDS!!!Twins girls(from skip),twin boys(from darren),Dustin is engaged to angela now,Brandi Gold-digged married the mailman

and while in college Lilith and Angela woohood the professors to get their grades up(im that lazy)

There are certain hacks I can not play the game without (example being No Friends for Careers). After I have all my hacks installed, I like playing legacies autonomously, starting with a single sim in a 5x5 lot. And lastly, random NPCs and townies are a must before I start playing in any neighborhood (I'm sick of Goopy).

I like playing with no cheats and I usually select the knowledge aspiration for just one sim. I like the challenge of getting them up for work then having them hit the books day in and day out. By the time they are half way through adulthood most of they're skills are maxed and that's when I decide to make more friends and look for a partner. The second half of my sim life is all about family and work, making all the necessary moves to be promoted to the top spot while maintaining a healthy and happy family. I usually have one of the head of house quit a job and be a full time parent...nanny's are expensive and I just do not trust them lol.

Then when all is said and done I start over again with the child that grows up and see's his parents die and let him move into a nicer smaller house and start his/her life as an adult.
