My friend Megan is like that.  It looks black, but if you put her right under a light, or in the sun, you can see it's really a dark, dark brown.

That's the color brown I want xD  But I got this ... funky mousey brown color, eeew. lol

Under the light it's not even that dark, though.
It has a lot of highlights when it's curly.

I think straight hair looks really good on you, but I'd like to see you with curly.

I've had so many perms in my life thanks to my mother, that I refuse to get them now.  I like my hair straight.
