I'm really hoping that the release will be something like January or February, that way you don't have to wait too far into 2009 to get it. I just got a new laptop for my Sims 2 but, the husband and I are planning on getting a new PC right before the end of the year. By then the specs for the Sims 3 should be out and I'll have a better idea on what I need to get. Oh ya, I have an account also at the Sim2 site, I've had it since 2004.

I have a Sims 2 account but I've never used it for anything. I read somewhere that the new game was due out in April next year but that was considered tentative at best.
