question for the sims 2

i have a question for sims 2? the question is ok for example if you plan a breakfast on a saturday morning or dinner on a friday night for the whole family parents kids everyone and u get into the car wat do u do like wat to press bcuz my sim family drives to a restaurtant and when they get there its like they cant sit down at a table together as a family and talk it wont allow it .

Don't you click on the guy on the little stand?
And click 'Get seated? o_O

Well, I think you'd have to set them up as a group. I've forgotten how you do that though, but I think it's the phone? Like a Group Outing? Or something?

That way, they will probably all be seated at the same table. It used to annoy me too when I did that because only one of the sims would sit at a table and the rest would be walking around.

Yea, go click on the sim you want to come with you and click "Ask" and then "Form Casual Group".
A little blue plombob will pop up over that sim and you can add as many as you want. Then when you go somewhere
they'll follow you around :]
