Re: Most Embarrassing Moments!
I want to rewind to Page 2 for a moment about the Teacher/Student relations discussion.
Ahmed, if Jen did happen to become a teacher, it wouldn't make any difference to us because she is not our teacher. I'm not entirely sure how it works over where you are Ahmed, but here, if a teacher were to have students on MSN, Bebo, MySpace, or any Social Network, then they would be fired. It's against the law. Even if the teacher is young, then it would still be against the law. The only exception to that would be if the person was your teacher BUT they were related to you in some way, therefore you would have them as a family member, which would not be illegal. Coming Soon... |

Re: Most Embarrassing Moments!
Why the heck would it be illegal? There's nothing wrong with talking to your teacher online.

Re: Most Embarrassing Moments!
I don't see anything wrong with having a teacher as a friend. Sure it's uncommon but hey, they have lives too and
could just as easily be your friend. Also I understand what Mike is saying too 'cuz I know that it's illegal and makes sense to be illegal on some terms but it sucks if the teacher is JUST your friend or is a friend of the family or whatnot. |
