Ranked chess matches

Hey folks.

I am being somewhat confused about several issues with playing chess professionally.

1. My next ranked match opponent is mother of my sim (!), the problem is there is no way I could challenge her to play ranked match, any ideas for that?

2. What affects chances to win game? Only logic, or something else as well. One of my sims have logic 9 and still is only rank 2 and being beaten every time.

1. Try just playing against the mother and see what happens.

2. Both logic and playing chess affects the chances of winning. Its just like painting, the more you paint, the higher the value. So you have to play chess A LOT to be able to beat people.
