Re: Pickin Baby Gender..
You can't exactly pick a gender but you can influence it. By eating 3+ apples, it reduces the chances you have of having a girl and increases the chances of having a boy. So with each apple your sim eats, it changes it until you've eaten enough to get 100% chance of a boy and 0% of a girl. To get a girl, the same thing happens with 3+ watermelons. Eat enough and its 100% of getting a girl and 0% of getting a boy.
The other thing I think you can do (I have yet to try it) is befriending a sim in the medical career and if they are high enough in rankings, they can predict the gender ahead of time, but don't necessarily change it. But I don't know if it's been confirmed or not. [center]
âBe vewy, vewy quiet. The Sims 3: Space Life In which those lucky few Sims who become astronauts can bring their families with them, and move... into Space. You'll witness aliens, stars, more stars, the sun, the earth, and more stars. You'll be able to travel through several story buildings with a simple hole in the floor and by turning the gravity off! Wait a second, i'm going to write this down... I don't lag, i own so much it takes the server a few seconds to figure out what the hell i just did.

The hardest part of a Zombie Apocalypse would be pretending it wasn't awesome. |

Re: Pickin Baby Gender..
^ You still have time to reverse it (It'll just take more watermelons xD) unless if the sim's already given birth xD

Re: Pickin Baby Gender..
I'm glad to hear they took what a sim eats into consideration when it comes to determining the babies gender :3 I know if a sim eats a lot of Spaghetti in TS2 the chances of a boy are higher, but that's really all I can recall about it because they didn't do much with TS2 in reguards to what you can do to influence the gender of their babies.

Re: Pickin Baby Gender..
Food doesn't influence the gender for me, rather decides it. I usually like to leave gender to random, but sometimes when you have that vision in your mind about how you want your family to be, a certain gender is mandatory so you have to do a 'lil cheatin', if you could call it that. Usually though, I like to let fate decide what they get lumbered with.
