dateline= Wrote:link=topic=7112.msg263678#msg263678 date=1250674262] I have to agree with you. I don't understand why they made a vacation expansion pack. They should of started with something that would make a sims everyday life more exciting, like nightlife, seasons, etc.

Yeah, the friends that stuck together. Re: World Adventures Trailer!
Exactly. And with the new neighbourhood feature, did we really need THREE new countries already? I don't see why we couldn't have got something more related to everyday life instead of holidays - I hardly think going on holiday is really important at this stage in the franchise. But heh, people seem to be liking it, so you never know.

The Sims Vacation actually had a quality about it that made me enjoy it. I think I enjoyed the fact that the locations were typical, diverse holidays with completely different weathers and activities available. Snow, sun and just plain weather. I liked the idea of camping, staying in that luxury hotel or in the warm cabins. That wasn't really available in BV. They're trying to be all cultural bringing places like China in, which is nice, but uh, I'd rather have a snowy place for more diversity. I also got put off with BV, because when you went on holidays, your Sims didn't age, and that was kind of annoying for me sometimes. I don't know if I like the idea of all this Egypt, France and China... don't get me wrong, I love the countries and cultures, it really interests me, but can't we just get back to the old days and have your typical holiday retreats like we had in The Sims Vacation? |

[/quote] Exactly, you can only have those places in TS!, and they're trying to make different places for vacation with each generation of the sims, but I don't think it's working that much.

Yeah, the friends that stuck together.
