Re: Job Interview
Ah that's not that bad, the K-Mart here is a dump and never busy, LOL. You could type in like "jobs in ______" and see what you get. My aunt did that and found like 30 jobs in this area.

Re: Job Interview
I did that, but everything that came up were jobs in Delaware COUNTY, which is different then the actual State of Delaware - so all the jobs that came up were actually in New Jersey and Pennsylvania ... which is NOT where I want to work.

Re: Job Interview
Maybe you should type in "Jobs in (your city) Delaware" That might work better x3

Re: Job Interview
lol I've done that too ... sadly, Bear is a very small city and the only jobs hiring here are for positions I am not qualified for (managers, or require two years of experience and/or a degree of some sort). So cashiering jobs are really the only thing I can look to do atm.

Re: Job Interview
Aw, I'm sorry you didn't get the job. And I know how you feel, only that I live in a huge area, but I'm not qualified for any of the jobs since they ALL want experience, even dish washing xD
So alas, I have to stick with my temp bookstore work xD
âBe vewy, vewy quiet. Re: Job Interview
LOL what experience does Dish-washing take?
I'll probably try to get a job at the mall since that'd be super fun
signature/avvie by [removed] ^_^ |

Re: Job Interview
Places are picky ... and unless you have actual experience, yes even with Dish Washing, they tend to look away. Which is LAME!

Re: Job Interview
dishwashing requires the experience of knowing how to wash dishes and how to use the equipment. Otherwise they'll turn you down xD
Luckily with the temp job I have, it gives me customer service and retail experience. I just want to work there long enough so that it doesn't look weird, and I guess to make my bosses impressed and stuff since last time it kinda went down the drain since I had no idea what I was doing. Oh, it also gives me experience in a fast paced environment because when its the first week of classes, college students get cranky and they want their books NOW.
âBe vewy, vewy quiet. Re: Job Interview
I think when I'm older I might move back to my hometown and open my own boutique, that'd be awesome =D
