My sims 3 game has been going very slow. if i get still, it'll run ok but not for very long.
I have 712mb of memory and a geforce 6100 video card. i know the minimum on the video card is geforce 5900. do you think my video card would be making my game go slow even though its above the recommended card? I'm planning on getting another 1GB of ram, but i dont know if i want to upgrade my video card too. what do u all think?

Re: think this would help?
It's mainly your RAM that needs upgrading if I recall correctly you need 2 gigs.  Wink I have 2.4 Gigs of ram and it works great the video card would only help rendering/graphics if its loading thats your problem then you should only update that.

thanks a ton! thats what i was thinking. the actual performance of the game is definitely due to the RAM.
