2012: End of the World?

Just to get this clear, No One Is Dying In 21 December 2012!!!
Its just the end of the Mayan Calender Cycle thingy-majig!!!
IDK why people are so worried about dying in that day
its just like December 31, what happends, the calender and year ends, but does this mean that we`re actually going to die? No! We start a new calender! Its just that people want to believe in stupid things because they have nothing better to do in there lives (sorry if I sound mean!!) (You know what, that does sound mean). Its just that humans like to follow other humans and believe other humans.. my guess. I am writing this because people keep on saying that we are going to die soon and stuff and people are actualy believing in this day. In my math class today, some students were saying that they don`t wanna die young, another is saying that they want to become a doctor and stuff. We`re not going to die. As with 2000, people were saying that we were gonna die in that year, did we die? No! People started killing themselves in fear of dying for reals in 2000. Also, when that European science company thing launched or started this thing that was going to create a blackhole, people started saying that we were gonna die and stuff and ppl actualy killed themselves. IDK, just writing my point of view. If this does not sound interesting to you, just skip it LOL.

Why are people so gullible. Geez, I heart that like a few years back I don't quite remember, people thought that aliens where comming to take over the world on a certain day and there was a group who where like big on it and when the time came around they had sold their houses, quit their jobs, packed suitcases and where ready to go. And then on the night they where waiting, and nothing happened so the 'leader' says that the aliens had decided to spare them another year.

Y2K was a problem with the dates changing on computers. They didn't know if they would be able to make the switch from 99 to 00.
