Avatar = Pocahontas ?
I just found this:
If this is real, I'm very disappointed. I doubt it tbh. Both plots are very simillar though. I doubt it. I saw it too.
Avatar is more original (: Because Jake IMO changes unlike John. PLUS THE REAL LIFE POCAHONTAS WAS A WH*RE. I really hate how people think it's Pocahontas. |

Re: Avatar = Pocahontas ?
To me, Avatar's plot was good but kinda repeated, What made the movie great is the amazing graphics and direction. If it wasn't James Cameron directing it, it wouldn't have been half as good imo

Re: Avatar = Pocahontas ?
Then again about the plot being not so original, maybe that's because it was written in 1994

Re: Avatar = Pocahontas ?
Mhmm it was.
The reason I found Avatar very original was cause for once the guy wasn't force to change. Like you know in love movies how the girl[or even guy] tells their 'lover' that something is wrong and that they don't want to be with them cause for some reason. Well it's not like that. Jake changed naturally. Though he was forced to learn the ways, but he was not forced not fall in love with the people or Neytiri. It just naturally and gradually happened. And I find that original cause that's how people are in real life. You have to gradually change not dramatically. Avatar represents real life in ways you won't imagine. And that was one of the main reasons of Avatar. To show us our real life problems in a movie. (: That's just my opinion |
