We should all celebrate our culture here in this forum. Smile
Ahmed celebrated Eid, so why not Australia Day?
I did this because there are some Australians in this forum such as Sam & Rena

Australia Day is a celebration of British rule in Australia. The First Fleet arrived in Sydney Cove in 1788, [if my history is correct] and it established British rule in Australia. Though this is the mark of celebrations for Non-Indigenous Australians, this is the marking point of the destruction of Aboriginal culture and society and led the way for many more hardships such as the Stolen Generations and other cruel acts done by the British.

I'm guessing it's just like 4th of July in the US where we throw fireworks and sing patriotic songs and cook barbecue.

And I am not only going to celebrate Australia Day. I'm celebrating 4th of July here too! Big Grin
Celebrate yours as well! Smile
Cassie can do the God Save the Queen speech....lmao. just kidding Cassie XD
but celebrate something cool here.

so yeah. Happy Australia Day Sam & Rena Smile

I don't even KNOW our National Anthem. Not a word. O.o

LOL, we don't have an 'England Day' or any of that kind of thing.

And I couldn't understand the description. So 'Australia Day' is when the Aussies celebrated their independence and separation from Britain? Jesus, was every country in the world associated with England at one point? O.o

I can't even think of any holiday in particular that you guys wont have, except for St. George's day and similar, useless days like that.

Happy Australia Day anyway. Smile Party hard. Tongue
