Birthday present for a girl?

So my friend invited me to her birthday party on Thursday and I have no idea what to get her. Anyone got any ideas?

I'm guessing she's around your age? Okay there's just too many things and every girl is different.

If you want to be safe you can go with makeup or bath stuff or something, though I always found those presents incredibly boring.

Just look around and wait for something to catch your eye. That's what I usually do. =P

Wouldn't buying a basket and CDs and candy and a stuffed animal cost a LOT though? Is she really close to you?

Make her a CD, buy her a book and something on the side, that's why I normally do.
