I think $60, because many console games have that price tag, so it will probably change the standard to $60 for computer games by 2009.

I actually think that it'll be over $70, i mean its the sims 3, it seems like the base games get more expensive with every generation

Hmm.... It really depends on what they are planning in the way of expansions.

If they are planning a ton of expansions/updates/etc., it could run lower. If not, then it will run higher.

I'm thinking maybe anywhere from $40 (though that is doubtful) up to mebbe $60. I doubt it would be higher, and I doubt many people would be willing to pay more, what with updating their computers etc., and I think EA knows this.

I remember sims 2 cost around €60, that'd be around $93.44 but seeing as in europe it's mostly imported I'm guessing aroun $70-80....

I am not sure really. Probably more than a lot of people will pay. At first anyway. I am not judging its worth right now, like some people. Its too early, the game is not finished yet. We don't know everything that will be a part of the game yet. It will no doubt be worth every penny.

I think it would be around $60-$70, obviously we use £ over here but TS2 was around £30 or £40 when it came out so that would be around $60 or $80, so yea...around that price!

I think it will be like $50-$60.  But, I can go higher, because it is a big game. And there are a lot of fans, and The Sims 3 'team' know that... So maybe they think : 'It has to be a high pirce, so we can earn more!'.  Maybe...

Aren't EA always looking to make lots of money anyway, so the price would be high anyway
