Can you add more sims to your family/household?

I only picked one sim to start with, but I want to add another, how can I do this in the Xbox 360 version?

Meet someone of the opposite s3x, become friends, ask if they are single, keep relationship going, lalala... eventually ask out, keep the romantic relationship going, propose for marriage, get married, WooHoo, try for baby... and keep trying until the girl is pregnant. Then, as far as a healthy pregnancy goes... eat well, maintain needs, and do things like read pregnancy books and watch Kids Television. Baby should come in a few days. Good luck.
