Base Game Incompatible With Expansion-Night Life.

Hi, I have just installed Night Life and now my game won't run because the base game is incompatible. It keeps telling me to look for any more updates via my game launcher but then the game launcher says that my game is fully up to date. I can't find any patches that work in the United Kingdom (region 2) where I live.

I have tried all the things on this link and none of them work- http://help.thesims.com/app/answers/deta...0expansion

The only Sims products I have installed are the Sims 3 and Night Life.
I can't seem to find a Skuversion.txt folder so I'm afraid I cannot say what version my games are.
I have attached my DxdIAG below.

Sure I read somewhere that if you are getting "Base game incompatible" issues, you should try uninstalling just the base game (l;eaving everything else in, that is all the stuff packs and expansions), then reinstall it and let it patch itself up accordingly. Worth a try!
